San Francisco Seals Swim Team is a year round competitive and pre competitive swim team for ages 6-18. Coach led and parent managed, we have three levels of training for our swimmers according to their age and skill level, and we practice in an indoor pool Tuesday through Friday with dryland practices on Monday. In our competitive season, we attend one to two swim meets a month from August to May, and the swim meets are held on weekends. We are a team focused on building up our swimmers to the best of their potential while fostering a welcoming community that supports our swimmers on and off the pool deck. We firmly believe that athletes of all backgrounds should be embraced and supported at every stage of their swimming journey.
Job Description
Assistant Swim Coach – Part Time
Responsibilities: Attending practices 3-4 days/week and 1-2 swim meets on Saturday &/or Sunday during competition season (August to May), writing swimming sets and practice plans, contributing to online administrative needs, and collaborating on team building throughout the year.
Candidate skills and qualities: experience with competitive swimming, coaching a team, and/or teaching swim lessons. Comfortable collaborating with coaches, swimmers, and Board members.
Requirements: background check, CPR Certified is a plus, USA Swimming Membership in good standing (can be completed online during probationary period)
Starting hourly wage: $25 with opportunities for increased pay after a 3-6 month probationary period and proof of being a coach in good standing with USA Swim.

Swim Meets are typically in the North Bay above San Francisco
